Blues on international duty

16/05/2008 08:45
Ched Evans could not find a way past Joe Hart as the two City players faced each other in Thursday night’s Wales v England Under 21 friendly.

Evans, with 10 goals under his belt from a good loan spell with Norwich last season, posed questions of Hart before the City’s Young Player of the Year was substituted at half time with England two goals up.

The match was the first of a string of internationals that will involve City players this summer. Vedran Corluka, Gelson Fernandes and Andreas Isaksson face friendly internationals ahead of their involvement at Euro 2008, while Joe Hart moves up from the Under 21 squad into England’s senior set-up for the first time.
