Former Sunderland player Colin Todd will return to the club next week to sign copies of his new autobiography.

The 59-year-old, who was born in Chester-le-Street and began an illustrious playing career with Sunderland in 1966, will be in the club's Stadium of Light shop (store @ the stadium) on Bank Holiday Monday (May 26), between 12-3pm.

Currently manager of Randers in Denmark, Todd played 173 games for Sunderland before Brian Clough took him to Derby in 1971. He won two league titles and 27 England caps during his time with the Rams.

Todd later played for Everton, Birmingham, Nottingham Forest, Oxford, Vancouver Whitecaps (in Canada) and Luton before going in to coaching with Middlesbrough, where he later became manager.

He has also managed Bolton, Swindon, Derby and Bradford.

Toddy - the Colin Todd story (hardback), priced £16.99, is available from the store @ the stadium.
