Supporters of Havant and Waterlooville are basking in the glory of being voted the best set of fans to visit Anfield this season.

As revealed yesterday on Liverpoolfc.tv, the Blue Square south side's fans came out as overwhelming winners of our online poll to discover the most vociferous, entertaining and witty group of supporters to occupy the away end of Anfield over the last ten months.
More than six thousand Havant and Waterlooville fans made the trip north back in January for an FA Cup fourth round tie - and it proved to be an occasion which will forever live in the memory as the non-leaguers twice took the lead against their illustrious opponents.
Barry Gamlin, Havant and Waterlooville Supporters Club Chairman, is delighted that fans from his club have been fondly remembered by the Kop.
"It was an absolutely amazing day," he recalls. "For us to be voted the best away fans to visit Anfield this season is a great privilege and I'd like to thank all of the Liverpool supporters who selected us.
"We all remember the day clearly. From getting to our little ground at 5am on a cold, dark morning and seeing twenty coaches lined up down the street to take us up north and then arriving at the historic Anfield. It was just magical. We were all queuing to have our pictures taken by the Shankly Gates and of course we took some minutes out to pay our respects at the Hillsborough Memorial.
"We had a super day and of course the fact we scored a couple of goals was beyond our wildest dreams. I thought that maybe if Liverpool got seven or eight goals in front then they may drop their guard and let us score. We scored from our second corner of the game and I remember saying to the person next to me that at least we're 2-0 up in corners if nothing else. Then when we saw the net bulge down at the Kop end it was just mass hysteria.
"In the end we didn't want the final whistle to go and you won't get many clubs saying that when they're 5-2 down.
"Unfortunately the season hasn't ended successfully for us because we missed the play-offs by two points. But they can wait for next year because we certainly wouldn't have exchanged a play-off place for the experience we had at Anfield this year. It was fantastic."
