Carlos Tevez plans to quit European football by the time he is 28.
The 24-year-old reckons Sir Alex Ferguson is right to insist on youth at the expense of experience. And he has promised Ferguson he will not hang around to increase the average age of the Old Trafford squad.
Tevez said: "At various times I've told myself that I want to retire at 28. I will only stay in Europe for a maximum of another four years. Life is very different here from Argentina - even the restaurants close earlier. If you're not with your family things get difficult."

Yet Tevez, who United will buy outright for £32million, remains committed in the immediate future, saying: "There are always new challenges. Mine is to be the ultimate champion. It's not like now I've won the Champions League I don't want it again - I want to repeat the success."
However, the Premier League will make it clear that there will be no more Tevez-style deals with a player under third party ownership being traded.
A Premier League spokesman said: "We are happy that United's agreement with Tevez met all our requirements last year, but this will be the last time we will allow a player owned by a third party to join a Premier League club."
